Combining Facial Acupuncture with Red Light Therapy
Facial acupuncture combined with red light therapy is a natural, non-invasive treatment that enhances skin health.
How the Combined Therapy Works
Facial Acupuncture:
Strategically placed needles create micro-injuries in the skin, initiating a healing response that brings blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the face, improving skin texture and reducing acne, rosacea, or fine lines.
Red Light Therapy (RLT):
Red light (often at wavelengths around 640nm or higher) penetrates deep into the dermal layer. This stimulates mitochondria to increase production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), boosting cellular energy and collagen density.
Synergy:
While acupuncture initiates the healing process and reduces tension, the red light acts as a restorative agent that lowers inflammation (caused by needles) and promotes faster tissue repair.
